Alicia Norris is the one to speak with if you have any additional questions. Signed copies are immediately available for all three books. :)
This book is literally making me feel physically anxious. My chest is tight and I don’t feel like I’m breathing right. And all I’m doing is reading the thing.

Coming soon from Lauren DeStefano: a utopian series! That’s right, not a dystopian, a UTOPIAN! Read the article from USA Today.
Hi! Even though I was an English major in college and knew publication was something I knew I wanted to pursue, I really didn’t know what to expect or where to start looking when I had a finished story and was ready to try. I found the 2008 Writer’s Market at B&N, which is like a phone book of agents who are actively seeking clients. It’s well-researched and updated every year, so in my opinion it’s a good resource. I followed the agency submission guidelines to the letter, and ultimately found an AMAZING agent I’m still with five years later. Having an agent really helped, because she answered every question I had, and was the one to submit my story to editors, and email me pictures of puppies when we got rejection letters. And once I already had a contract, it was up to my agent to make sure I was being treated fairly and that my contract was negotiated in my best interests. Even with three books under my belt, new questions and situations often arise and I’m so glad she’s just an email or phone call away to counsel me!
And once you’re published, my advice would be to just take it day by day. :)
